    Maybe it's worthwhile to note that, if you not sure that somebody had touched the glass part of the globe or you did it accidentally, just use methylated spirit to clean the glass.

    Thanks for all your advice, guys. I'll buy a new set of bulbs ensuring they're not touched with bare fingers. I hope that's the answer

    Check the cleanliness and security of the electrical connectors for the headlight assembly. Also, if it's not completely engaged into the carrier, it can render the lights inoperative. I've seen this on a few in the past, where customers have removed the headlight to replace the globe, but have not completely re-engaged it into the carrier and the lights have not worked.

    Ok cheers, I'll check it out next time I've got the car. It seems to be doing alright now so I might just wait until we have another drama... I've learnt my lesson to not touch things when they aren't broken haha.
