Well we have all the paint and glue etc. so we shall begin.
This is the first pic before the start. We shall have our own mini Nats
VR6Pitcrew, Kara and I have bought Mk3 VR6 models to build and we're each going to be styling it individually. Keep an eye on this space for the "build" stories along with the ultimate complete model

Last night we sat together and worked as a team, started putting all the bits together, Tony did the painting. Had problems with the little cross bar that lines up the wheels, really fragile, be careful ours snapped but found an easy way to fix it. the transfer for the dash dials are a bugger to do.

Looks great, I see you guys have got a keen head start on me!
I haven't bought the paint yet, but let's say I'm not following the manufacturer's recommendations
2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon
We hope you have made a start by now Alex, we aren't exactly following instructions, just want it looking like HAH44.
We are at the stage of painting the body, which has been the hardest, we bought the brush on paint, not good enough, then bought the wrong spray paint, finally bought the right spray paint, just waiting for the final coat before I post a pic.
The rest is done waiting to be put together. Hope there's a post from you asap with your progress.

You even managed to take out the back seat, wow, we didn't think it could be done so we left it.
Plus you were clever enough to mask the black trim, Tony spray painted the whole car then hand painted the trim, what a pig of a job to get right, well done it is so hard being so small.

Well we both sat there last night intensely working on Mini me VR6, trim was so hard, wish we'd done what R32 did, mask it up first, learnt something new
