Where will future Australian spec VWs be made ???

My speculation thread from tidbits around the net

-Golf VI is easy welcome back Germany

-2010 Polo South Africa (80%) or India (20%)

-Pickup don't cry for me.......Argentina (100%)

-T6 van Germany (90%) but possibly India (5%) or South Africa (5%) are real possibilities if economics suits the regions.

-New Midsize Sedan - Passat for cheap from America (85%)

-Jetta VI Mexico (45%) or South Africa (55%).

Russian or Chinese VWs are also possibly example if Tiguan sales were to pickup in Europe Wolfsburg may not be able to factor our demand leaving Kaluga and Shanghai open to fight for our market

I beleive that for the first time ever,the 6th generation Golf and Jetta are NOT going to be built in South Africa,but will be fully imported.
The main Golf production will take place in Wolfsburg,Germany.
Jettas will be built in huge volume in Mexico,as well as in China,Russia,and India.
May also eventually built in Tennesee,USA,and production could also return to Wolfsburg,where the last Jetta built there was the A4/Bora platform.
VW is global,so it is all interesting to see.
