The Volkswagen Trucks and Bus is delivering first to the 14 units of militarized truck VW 15,210 Worker 4X4, drawn for the Brazilian Armed Forces. The assembly plant locks up a hegemony of 50 years of its main competitor, so far the only one to offer trucks militarized with integral traction. Total developed in Brazil, the Volkswagen truck has as main attributes the robustness certified in rigorous tests, the flexibility of applications and the efficient services of after-vendas. The homologation of the Brazilian Army also opens markets in the exterior, therefore she is accepted for the Armed Forces of diverse countries.
The Military Academy of the Black Needles (Aman) received the eight first units from 15,210 VW 4X4, now called for the Army VOP2 5QT. The acronym indicates that the vehicle is of the militarized operational type, capable to carry five tons in any type of land. Project
The project of the militarized truck all included one year of tests in fields of tests of the Army in Brazil. Engineering
The militarization of the new vehicle was made with the support of the Techno Car Guevel Special Vehicles, company specialized in transformations with headquarters in Itaquacetuba (SP).
