    VW production figures in Mexico,January-June 2008

    A record result,the highest figures ever for half a year.
    The most produced models were
    Jetta A5 sedan 99843
    Jetta A5 Sportwagon/Golf Variant 54195
    Jetta A4/Bora 39983
    New Beetle coupe/Cabriolet 28430
    TOTAL 222451.

    VW have set their production plans for Mexico for 2008
    Jetta A5...210000
    Jetta sportsWagon/Golf Variant...110000
    Jetta A4/Bora...80000
    New Beetle/cabriolet...50000
    Total 450000.
    VW have announced that this will be their best figure ever produced there,but will ramp up production to 550000 units a year by 2010,when it will start production of the Jetta A6.
