    I don't think that VW is killing Skoda. Skoda and Volkswagen relationship is very interesting and goes far in history, right to the beginnings of Volkswagen before WW2. But Skoda history goes right to the 1900.

    Even the first European car President was made by Czechs and in Czech republic
    and the very first car is now in Czech National Technical Museum and is still drivable.

    Much of a Muchness.

    SEAT is dead in Australia - theres only one "dealer" in melb.
    Skoda is still viewed by most as a joke in Australia so there needs to be a major advertising push to get it across that its not a cheap car - in the sense that its not dodgy.
