    Post Volkswagen @ Australian International Motor Show

    Apart from the Touareg R50 which is having its world debut at AIMS and price debut of $129,990.

    VGA have a Golf Variant to test whether customers would like the car see Drive.com.au article.

    My question is to you ben. I may have missed your earlier posts. Do you work for Vw australia or soemthing. I rememebr you saying you access yo excusive vw materials...

    I may be there this saturday. Perhaps we could exhange a hand shake.

    LOL no I don't work for VGA

    I have access to VW Media sites due to my association to other Automotive websites.

    Well I have landed back safely in the City of Churches

    Anyway show was great The Pavilion fantastic

    Highlights in The Pavilion

    -Compact Wagon aka Jetta/Golf Wagon

    -Caravelle nameplate returns in 2.5 TDI LWB 9 seater guise.

    -GT Sport TSI

    -R50 Touareg

    -Skoda Range

    -Bentley Range - GT Speed

    Highlights Elsewhere

    -Lamborghini Superleggera

    -all new Audi A4

    -Mazda 6

    -Hyundai i30 (very good) [Koreans are catching up whether you believe this or not is upto you :p]

    -Ford Mondeo will kill the Falcon

    -Calais Sportwagon Concept (ok runs on E85 will be popular as Corolla soon enough)

    -Hyundai H1 (this was the shocker at the show, in that Hyundai will enter the 1 tonne LCV market and MPV market)

    Donate $2 at
    - Skoda stand to get showbag and ask for DVD too.
    - VW stand and get latest Volkswagen Magazine inside worth $8.95.
    - Take batteries for those digi cameras.
