ugliest thing i've seen in a while.

it's not a ute, utes aren't meant to be "stylish"

reminds me of a VE ute actually with the one piece side panel..

Sedan isn't too bad. Wouldnt rush out to buy one though..

i'd only buy the ute if it came with the V6tdi or the V10tdi and AWD

why can they go back to classic styling!

C'mon guys this is basically a Polo ute

Imagine this with 4Motion it would spiritually replace the Subaru Brumby.

doesn't matter what it is if it's ugly imo..

Besides there isn't a market here for a small size ute. Australians like thier utes FULL sized. Hence the demise of the afore mentioned suby brumby..

Its a bit of a Meh for me at the moment. I'll reserve my judgement till the final product.

Heh... The ute looks kind of like a cross between a VE ute and a Proton Jumbuck.
Not sure what it's point is though? Do we have payloads for the tray and engine outputs? Until those are released we will not know how pointless or useful this ute is.
What we really need though is for Subaru to put the Brumby back into production (wagon and ute). Now there is a wicked little vechicle.

Those brumbies & other early subies in general are in big demand in this nick of the wood, they seem to be very practicle
I thought it looked bigger than that in the pics though
