If you look at the individual models,FAW Volkswagen is far more relevant to Australia and the rest of the world than Shanghai VW.

Sorry Ben,I only have the domestic sales.
I suppose GTI,Eos ,Phaeton, Touareg would all make up a few sales every month in China.
    Will try get them.
VW sales in China are awesome, and it has become the groups largest market world wide.

Whats up with the decimals? Are they still making and selling Golf IV as well as Jetta Mk2 and Mk5 side by side?

By law, no vehicle in China can be driven for more than 60,000km before they must be disposed for emission control. And as not everyone can afford a new model VW every 2-4 years VW is selling variants of older models i.e MK2 Jetta with newer more modern engines and safety features as new cars. All of course produced locally exclusive for the Chinese market.

For a country that's got such awful pollution, I wonder why the 60,000km law isn't working... I suppose it's the factories as well, adding to the pollution...
