    Considering that its going to be well over 60k, it has to be AWD. Unless any of the other manufacturers decide to make outlandishly overpowered FWD hatches I can't see a market for this car at all. Well not in the 60k bracket...

    Even the Volvo's are going AWD...

    That's hot. Let's hope it makes VW/Audi step it up.

    S3 is still an easy winner for those sorts of dollars.

    If I remember correctly, someone in Perth I heard about on the ECCA forums has an RS Focus, brought it over with him from the UK.

    I dont like the body shape of the XR5. The Focus RS makes up for what the XR5 lacks.

    I sat in a new XR5 recently, and the interior felt quite low-rent. didnt really inspire me.

    Unless this model is very different, which I doubt, if I was going to spend $60k I'd much rather get a low km secondhand S3 or R32
