Awesome acceleration mate, gotta be stoked with that ! But the only thing I suggest is you mention in the video comments that it was done on a private track or drag strip. If not and was proved (somehow) it was done on a public road, you can get stung pretty hard for reckless driving and speeding.

Kiel: I was always curious bro, hence why I had to make a clip to help others with their decision with using APR or not

Golf Man: A sick song indeed!! It is catchy as bro, if you are into aussie rap check out Urthboy and Scott Burns too!

Spyda: My timing was actually reading 5.34 to 100 but I chopped it back a little just to cover any potential discrepancy and non believers. I have found that the best launch method is done at around 2-2700 rpm, good compromise of slip and no bogging down

And yes always film your car doing this stuff in a controlled environment.

All in all could not be happier with the crisper throttle response, low low end TORQUE and bang for buck that this tune offers

That is a brilliant launch! I wish i could get my GTI off the line like that. How many tries did that take you to get right?

What did you use to time it? Its a bit hard to time with the video the car launches right on 18 secs and Looks to hit 107ish(true 100kms/h) at around 24ish secs. Shame youtube doesnt give us 100ths of seconds!

and where was the camera? were you driving 1 handed or did you have the camera strapped to your head?

Just shows how quick these Pirellis can be!

To be honest this was the first launch of three and was the best, I used this rpm range on launch as this method feels like the best compromise of grip and slip. I also lifted the throttle about 5% for a brief moment when it started spinning.

I used a GTech Pro timer which is an acurate timing device which uses G forces to calculate the timing.. used by many journo's. Incidently my speedo reads 104 when doing 100 kmh.

The camera believe it or not was surgicaly drilled into my forehead try replicating that!! LOL No no...the camera was taped to the rear of the steering wheel (looked messy but worked)
And not a Pirelli bro....... GTI

Ps: This car makes me hard! why I bothered with aussie and jap cars is beyond me, had some fun though
