    They're based on the Golf/Passat/Tiguan platform. You can see a lot of Tiguan in the exterior design.

    Saveiro is based on the PQ24-PQ25 Polo platform.
    Its is related to Brazil's top selling VW the Gol hatch and Voyage sedan.

    These have been around for a while but look pretty good.
    It is essentially a VW version of a proton jumbuck.

    They wouldn't sell well here at all considering almost everyone wants super sized things.

    It might just be my age and lifestyle, but a smaller ute is much more appealing.
    surfing, house renos, regularly moving car parts, parking (often see bigger utes (rangers, hilux etc) struggling).
    A nice pokey 1.9tdi like in the 9n polos would be awesome.
