I beleive that besides 1400 Golfs,Woolworths have also purchased 1500 Jettas and Passats for top management,due to be delivered within the next year.
Holden lost out on the tender.VW gained.

Just seen todays local newspaper.
The deal is 1500 Jettas,and 1500 Passats,so a grand total of 3000 cars,in adition to the 1400 Golfs.
Grand total of 4400 cars.
Apparently Peugeot were also in the running,but they claim that they dont have a compact/medium Jetta competing sedan,and that was why they lost the deal.
Apparently their contract with Holden had been in place for the last 25 years.
