I was reading the paper this morning when I came across this:
Source: Telegraph.co.uk... As with all new Volkswagens, including the-top-of-the-range, £78,000 Phaeton, the Golf Twist costs only £84 per annum to service thanks to VW's three-year, fixed price service plan which costs just £250...
That equates to just $450 for three years ($150 per year). Additional work will cost extra of course, but still, I think that's very good value.
But wouldn't it be nice if the dealers here offered the same plan! (Are you reading this VW Australia? ) I also think it's an effective way to get more people into Volkswagens, who often hear stories (justified or not) regarding the cost of maintaining European cars.
Do you think it's saying something, comparing what they pay and what we pay when it comes to servicing?
