Very interesting stuff! If it takes off I'll be very impressed. This is the sort of engine that's probably work best in a deisel-electric vehicle where the motor can run at it's optimal revs.
This engine & invention is truely remarkable & could change the face of motoring & all sort's of industry's if picked up!
Imagine the performance industry! Throw one in the back of a beetle! haha
The basic 14" engine capacity is 850ci & makes 850hp! 814ft/lb at 850rpm!!!!!
It makes more power at idle, than most current super car's at full throttle!

It also has the potential to run at 150miles a gallon!
The prototype version is also running on diesel/bio diesel
That 814ft/lbs was with 150psi of air pressure too. No combustion!

Sorry, but put me down as a skeptic: "If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is ! "

Yeah, I've been thinking about it and something doesn't quite fit. I think the 2 biggest questions I have are:
1) How is this engine going to deliver all this power to a gearbox? With making the engine smallet, you have to make the crank shaft smaller too don't you? Whatever the crank is made of is going to have to be able to handle the torque output by the engine, otherwise it's just going to shear and remndering the engine design useless.
2) Like the rotary engine, this looks like it'll be a fairly thirsty beast. I can't see how it's going to be more efficient than a standard 4-stroke engine. We'll see though.

If it's so good, why hasn't it made more press or been mass-produced yet etc etc. It's been around a while.

i looked it up, they ran out of developement funds.
Its now going into production I believe

Cooling it is going to be a huge issue - if you have that "32 cylinders" combusting in that small space - how are they going to get rid of all the heat?
