you could be right... i'll have to ring him and confirm, he had the previous model in the quattro, as they were living in beijing and it snows there... maybe that was a 3.8... correct me if i'm wrong!!

I don't think VWAG or FAW/SAIC have a 3.8L engine ;)

Maybe it was 1.8T ?
