1 of the most interesting things to note is the high pressure fuel pump. No need to go aftermarket (APR) anymore for additional fuel ....

Oettinger is already chipping this engine in the A4 to 199kw compared to the 173kw it managed from the old MK5 GTI.

Imagine what the other tuners will get out of it ...... 200+kw ????? from a chip only .....

I really rate the MkVI - they look much better in real life too.

i understand the mk6 is only really a face lift for the mk5, and i do like the look of them, but i think they could have done more with the mk6 GTI. with those wheels especially it still looks the same as the 5, with a different grill.

its ok i guess, but i think they could have done more. though i wouldnt say no to one any day of the week!

i agree. i DO like the sharper headlights and wider stance, but i reckon they should have pursued the round-rear-light theme, simply because, in my head, in a time where other 'hot hatch' producers seem to be producing big round cars with lights that follow 'kinetic' etc design themes, i reckon that pulling off circular rear lights, when done right, is both gorgeous and timeless.

i guess thats why i love the rear of the current polo, golf, Eos, etc.
