But it's made in Brazil so it's like how we see so many commondores on our roads, cheap and local.

actually, you're right- DEFINITELY some SX4 dna in there.

but then, vw DO own part of suzuku, i guess (not that the design houses would be the same, although i cant tell, looking at this...)
