During December VW had a promotion on Jettas with drive away deals.
They had their best ever month in Australia with almost 700 deliveries during the month, and by January stocks had sold out.It even outsold the Golf during this very sucessful promotion.
No Jettas at Melbourne dealerships to be seen,or in Geelong.
A few cars arriving in February, and sales should shoot up again by March.
It is a pity that stocks are so slow,as people are having to wait for their new cars. And now only good deals on Polos and some Golfs.
I had to wait a month for my Silver 2.o FSI auto Jetta.
It was well worth the wait after an Astra Olympic Edition.

sad to see that the Polo dropped back ...

I had hoped that people in this country would have finally had their wake-up call and decided to buy nicer looking and more individual cars than the bloody Yaris.

Just imagine you've got a mate who's got one of those ... you think you are seeing him at every corner ...

    May figures up

New entrants are Tiguan [111] and Caravelle [18], Kombi and Kombi Beach have been dropped from the range most likely due to slow sales.
