id have to guesstimate and say just over $3k with new panels
dom
Maybe even cheaper if you used golf bits?
Then it's be a Gonto. Sweet!
When I bought my Mk3 it was in similar condition to that Vento. I didnt so much find cost in panles as I sourced second hand stuff and items from the forum. The real cost invloved will be having the car re-allinged etc. I was very lucky in that my olman is very good mates with a panel shop.
But dont get me wrong its a load of fun taking a trash can and spending the hours making it look new again which I have hopefully acheived.
That car is not much of a hit. I reckon $1000 on parts and some paint.
I`d use a Golf front too.
