I think the Colour Concepts and their reccaros had folding seats. I'm looking at another red one and it has the same levers also mounted on the inside.

Pretty sure that most OE Recaros have 2 levers on them, so you can flick them forward from the drivers seat without stretching over.

    My S3 is like that.

In a 5 door though? That's what's confusing me now! Maybe it's just VWA's cost cutting back in the day.

All the recaros flipped forward irrespective of 2 or 4 door I believe and im pretty sure they all had levers inboard like that too.

Personally I think that car looks to be pretty awesome. Its rare, its low kms, it seems in good nick. The price is high yes but find another one like it? Its worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it really.

Seriously? You all just attacked this guy for no reason...

Ok, so his spelling isn't great (have you read half the posts on any forum?) and he's asking a lot for his car, who freaking cares....

And then you all went nuts at the seats ... OMG, how DARE this guy put in seats from a 2 door! Or .. hang on ... maybe he didnt and they're factory ... or ... maybe we dont know.

    Pack of mongrels.

    Little over-exagerrated, but fair enough!

I've never owned a VR6 or a Golf MK3 for that matter and wasn't claiming to know anything about them, just wondering why Recaro had a weird design and now we've figured it out.

I never said anything about the price or the car, I actually think it's a great example and quite a reasonable price considering it's mileage and condition. Another day of people taking post on forums wayyyy too seriously...
