    Mk3 GTI

VW Golf GTI MK3 | Cars, Vans & Utes | Gumtree Australia Manly Area - Fairlight

These were 8v 2L weren't they? Did they have any advantages over a GL?

    Mk3 GTI

Came in a 16v version as well I believe. If it is a 16v would be a sweet car! Still pretty cool anyway because we didn't get GTI in the mk3. Pretty sure the 8v is just a nicer version of the agg 2.0. Essentially the nice seats and other features of our delivered vr6 with a 4 banger.

4 stud conversion for those fully sick rims to match the carbon bonnet and red door race decals for his sponsors.

Yep that's SA GTi badge, I saw a few SA Mk2 have that.

If I'm bore next week I'll go check it out.

The GTI badge is the script from a South African built car.

Get hold of the VIN and it will reveal all.
    Then offer them $3k

He claims the 8v has better low end torque. Looks like a nice car though. ANd bloody rare too.
