    Mk2 3 door 16V

Anyone know anything about this? I think i know who used to own it, not sure if the current owner is on here? I'm tempted by it.

Looks the goods! If this did belong to who i'm thinking of, i don't remember it having a 16V. I thought it was an 8V GTI, but this looks like it may of started life as a non GTI, noticed it doesn't have a rear spoiler/window.

I'm pretty sure the engine swap was done at Volkworke, and *may* even be owned by the same bloke that has Jons old grey 2 door, which now has a VR6 in it..

We (volkwerke) built the gearbox for it, we weren't involved in the conversion.
When I saw it last it had been in a workshop previous to us for a long time (not sure if they did the conversion). The car is nice with no expense spared. It had a haltech ecu as well which is a bonus for anyone who wants to take the car further.
