    MK2 2door 16v GTI low kms on pickles in NSW cheap project for someone.. HURRY

    Hey guys

    Stumbled upon this, check it out, 150k 2 door 16v

    Circa 89, Volkswagen, Golf, Hatchback - Pickles Auctions Australia

    that is awesome, i thought 3 doors were rare as rocking horse poop...

    does anyone know how much to ship to brissy, it would be ace with the 1.8t from the a3 fitted...

    nonononononononnon... keep it original.. With that many kms on it its probably the lowest kms 16v in the country.

    If you are serious about it, call the office and get them to check it is KMS and not MILES on the ODO..

    I reckon that's 151,000 miles NOT klms (the speedo is in miles, UK version). Good project for someone anyway...

    id much rather the car go to an enthusiast on the forums then a wrecker and be parted out, or be marked up and sold off.

    i am serious but really have too many projects on the go at the moment and no time for those either. read it to be 150,000 miles adn owned on of these in the uk with 130,000 on and it was ready for a fair bit of maintenance; although it was driven hard

    i do agree though the 16v are great motors and loved the way it picked up from around 4k to the redline...

    good luck to whoever gets it and hope its someone from this forum...
