    Damn, that would be a good bit of fun...

    So this is the same engine from the Polo GTI?

    Seems like good power delivery guess the upgraded fulp pumps and a lot of custom intake / exhaust work provide the extra power over the 1.8T with remap?

    last time it was up on ebay bids where as high as 11,500 from memory and reserve wasn't met then.

    I'm interested to know this as well. I'd much prefer to do a 1.8t conversion on my mk2 rather than buying a new car.

    The cost of a 20VT conversion has been discussed a number of times on the forum. have a search for some more in depth discussions. From memory it was about 20K for a complete package. [inc susp brakes etc]

    Putting a 20VT in isn't the hard part, it's everything else that needs doing to make it all work.
