well worth the money! heaps of time has gone into this car
worth noting the motor was brand spankers when bought!
i want it too... such a nice car
just add that it seems a bit harsh for certain people to be bagging others they have never met, especially since WE ALL share a common interest in our vw's!

i would pay 15k for it if i had the spare cash, crap could have bought it if i did not just dump over 10k on the mk4
a4 1.8tq,s4 mirrors,genuine,a8,wheels,black side markers,rs4 grill, apr r1 dv,neuspeed springs 2" drop waiting for haltech ecu
nice car, seen in person countless of times, built buy nice blokes who know their dubs back to front.
quality built.
worth it? sure, if you want a mk1 gti 20V turbo, why not pay 10K + ?
hell...i would
be a shame to see this forum head down the vwvortex, attitude road
2000 SAAB 9-5 Aero - Stage 2. 275hp 420Nm, Brew City Boost
1986 SAAB 900 Turbo 16 S
haha I know what you mean but there are some serious heads over there, plus a couple more million people!
After completing what would be deemed a minor/moderate conversion by vortex standards I can see where the value is. There is no way they spent less than 15k on this car... plus the hundreds of hours.
Mad props for a dream car.
Awesome car, definitely surprise some at the traffic light gp
Not being a mechanically minded person, would a mechanic know how to fix it with all the custom parts and mods??
or would you need to keep in touch with the seller if things went pear shaped?
the last thing you would want, is to spend $15K on the car and no one knows how to fix it except for the previous owner

engine is the same as whats in polo gti's mk 4 gti's and various audi and passats.
most people would know how to service things etc. i'm sure the seller would inform you of any tricky bits to watch out for.
