lol, i maintain its a little gem. yes it needs a fair bit of work, but all the bits are there to make a sensible mk1. .....dont need to chase parts.

I don't know from the looks of it that body has alot of rust which is the main reason why I wouldn't be taking it on.
Otherwise I would like the body since its a 3door.

is it possible to retrofit the s1 early style mk1 cluster into an s2 (cabrio/mk2 style) dash, it seems the space dofference with the clusters is quite small...doable???

I don't know the answer, but why would you do that ? Mk1 s2 dash/cluster look much better.

I'd have an early dash in preference to the later S2? dash anyday. For what its worth, I wouldn't touch that car. You have to ask why its at a wreckers, there must be mechanical or structural problems with it. Cheaper and quicker to find another one and add some bits.

Car is in the yard now, they wont sell the car complete.

Mate was in looking at it yesterday, the dash, sway bar and brakes are gone.
