VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life
There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

ew shaved side swage line.
ew on many other things too. but with any luck it's an ABF and it'd haul ass!
We spotted this last time we were in Byron Bay, looked allright in the flesh. Lots of mk2 GTI gear on it including rear big bumper and disc rear end. Didn't like the reiger front bar and skirts. Would go hard though for sure. For all the mods done its worth the money i think..
Mk2 GTI 2 door 1.9l 8v turbo 1st mk2 1st engineered water vw nats 09
Mk1 twin eng twin turb
scirocco gti 2.1l 16v turb 6spd
Audi A4 B5 1.8t
only problem is you have to like the mods for it to be worth the money, if that makes sense.
i'd have to completely redo the body work, and then, make the interior 'match' ie newer dash with older seats etc.
hopefully the mech's are all good.
but that's just me.
i dont think its a EFI motor, obviously injected yes but im 99% sure its k-jet, hint is with the gear linkages need replacing, abf conversions generally have 02a cable change boxes...
dom
yea I though about that Dom, and fair point. could still be but who knows. unless theres a bit of under the bonnet there that we missed.
It`ll be a kjet for sure. There were no ABFs in the country when that car was built.
Engineered though, that makes it worth while. Slap a set of seats in it and grin.
