I stronly recommend that you DO NOT click on any of the links or visit Importmonster AT ALL.
I can almost gaurentee you'll spend all your nights and weekends searching for wheels, buying wheels that you dont need or for cars you don't own and end up going broke. j:
Don't say I didn't warn you. :P

Yeah or cool Japanese bits. They have super cool stuff.

I just buy all my wheels from Real Wheel Warehouse - 'Genuine' BBS for an awesome price! :)
And if anyone doesn't get my sarcasm in that statement please feel free to go and buy a set haha!

just bought these badboys.. funny this thread came up actually. i used to browse I-M all the time when i had my s13 looking for nice rims etc to import and was keen on getting some 17s for the gti and thought id give I-M a crack again. the next day this thread popped up.
Today i bit the bullet on these.. not sure what modifications ill need re hub-rings and new wheel nuts etc, but they should go on no problems.
For $580 delivered,i had to have them.

Good sizes, I only see 16" 5x100 ones here in Australia.

nothing some hubcentric spacers wont be able to fix up!
Looks like a pretty good buy.

yea, im happy with the specs, ive been chasing 17s for ages. bought some 18 inch audi A8s and i just didnt ever want to run them.
hub is 65mm, rays make hubrings to suit VW.. 17 dollars EACH plus postage. ****, im sure they sell alot. found some on JEGS (USA) 17 dollars for a set of 4 aluminiums, but shipping was 50 bucks.
theres a ****load of polycarbonate ones on ebay, but none are quite right, 66.5 OD instead of 65 etc. i got plenty of time to find some.
Will also need to drill out the stud holes from M12 to M14, which is easy.
-
yea plenty of options.
If you're going to go down the route of spacers (I'd reccommend some ~10mm ones to help fill the arches a little) then you can get them made up with the centre bore spigot ring incorporated.
Otherwise, have a search locally, you should be able to find some locally, as they're not exactly uncommon.

yea i thought of putting the spig in the spacer if i run them. ill do a lugcentric fit first and see how they look.
