Yeah have been eyeing this, wish I had the cash, ditch those wheels and clean it up nicely not as a fake R32 just an uber clean surprise rocket-golf.

yeah, if it was 4/5 door, I'd be considering it.. I'd love the 5 door in 4mo.. a kiwi guy sold an R32 5 door he brought over with him from NZ about a year ago.. black with black aristos.. I wanted it so bad..

I wonder what the best bang for buck engine mod would be for this, seeing as it's 2.8L vs the 3.2L of the R.. ? Rather than open up the engine, would you just turbo it?

Whats the big deal about the doors in Australia. I don't get it? Will you be riding in the back? How often do you have more than 2 people to drive anywhere.

I have a wife and 2 kids, we all go out in the S3 and Polo. No dramas.

    PS I think it's sold.

Well for me I have to load in quite big/long bags of photography gear and lighting stands a cross the back seat now and then.

But I know what you mean, when you actually think of how many times you have adults in the back, it's not very often at all!

I just like the look a bit better too..

I was going to buy this car when it was up for $10k.

Took it for a test drive and handed it over to my local mechanic to check it over (because it failed RWC and the owner was selling without it).

My mechanic handed me a report and told me I was looking at around $4k repair bill to get it on the road :/
