Couple of MK1s in Just Cars

Page 107 of Sept issue, both 4 doors:

1 in QLD, ad reads:

'Volkswagen Golf diesel, 1979, very original condition, recond engine and diesel pump, drives well, new cam belt, original interior, new tyres, very rare, well maintained, reg till 11/09 ... $1,750'

Second in SA, ad just says 'VW golf, 4 door' price is $1,200.

I know nothing about the cars, and can't vouch for them, but the QLD one seem interesting.
