    wrong stud pattern, which means you'll need like $500 bucks worth of adaptors the + tyres. they'll end up being pretty extreme fitments, since they're a kinda low offset to start off with. and they look to all be curbed rash, quite badly. I think he's asking way too much for them, but that's his perogative.

    I think if you were keen on 17" RS's on a mk 2, there are better sets out there to start off with!

    Too big IMO for a MK2, better suited to a MK3, MK4 or MK5.
    Work very nicely on a MK5 with wobble bolts, good offsets for that too

    you could pull it off on a mk2, with the right offsets and stance. I reckon it'd look ace too. Have to be a big bumper mk 2 though.

    yeaaaa told ya so! that's the money right there. Mind you, you'd have to be low like that to pull it off I think. and checking that front bumper clearance - not the most practical! (or even legal maybe??:S )

    The Mk2 ride would be tough to live with on 17's though. They're not RS's but a nice alternative from Ebay UK:
