this thing is still for sale and this is much much better then a R32 it has 245BHP he wants to sell it to a good home
Hi all,
I guess one reason it might still be for sale is the fact it is "apparently" the only one in OZ. Not everyone wants the hassles of owning a one off vehicle. I for one, would like the comfort in knowing that if I had an R32 I could simply go to my Local dealer or parts place and get the bits I need rather than trying to match up bits and pieces from various models hoping they may fit.
I was involved in the car industry at the time the "grey imports" were first hitting our shores and the number of disgruntled customers who thought they could rock up to their local dealer and buy bits for these "one only" imports was amazing.
I am not sure how you would go with insurance either...."you want to insure a what???"
As for me...give me an Australian delivered R32 any day....no matter how cheap the import appeared.
Just my thoughts.

Maybe I missed something here but how does this have more power than an R32 when an R32 has a warmed over 3.2 and this has a stock (as far as I know)2.8 (Which should be 200hp as seen in the V6 4mo Bora)? Apart from the engine difference I see no other major differences so what makes this car "much much better" than an R32?

2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!
Forever blowing bubbles.
Correct me if im worng but its the same gear as a bora v6 4motion. If you need exterior parts you ask for Golf if you need mechanical parts you ask for bora v6. Its not to difficult man. Besides that, if it was not the same gear as a bora than VW will still have the parts but they make you pay postage for it because they never sold it here.

I've posted this a few times but this car is in amazing condition! It's one of those "has to be seen to believe" type cars.

It wouldn't be standard if it has 245hp. V6 4Mo's are nice, but if you're after a Mk4 and the same money will buy you an R32, i know what i'd choose
Its been for sale for ages....
