    I used to have one of those, the fuel injection on these makes a surprising amount of get up and go compared to a carby 1600.

    My first car was a 1970 TLE Fastback Auto in a very similar colour

    It's a little tempting to buy that and tinker...

    You can always go to Aussie Veedubbers to get info, advice etc. They know their Aircooled VWs over there.
