The same seller also has a 5spd box complete with the correct left hand gearbox mount for a MK1 Golf - only $30.00 so far - good price for the mount on it's own.

Some us here ... see my picture thread for pics of my previous MK1 ....

I've been in contact with this guy .... he's focussing on his turbo Falcon so the Golf needs to go ... its driveable but last registered in Oct 08. Its in Browns Plains.

Its driveable but not engineered. Some surface rust and some rust on the LHF floor, radiator support and LH lower arm bolt on area. I've not seen it yet, but will be looking at it over the weekend. So no real understanding of what it will need.

Still trying to convince SWMBO that its time for another MK1 project .... but hopeful of a good outcome for me ...


If I do get I'll be shipping over a 2009 MK1 interior from South Africa ..... probably get a whole crashed late 1.6i Citi and transplant into the 2 door shell ....

Im going to have a look at it this weekend also ... hopefully tonight hopefully deposit hopefully take it home btu i really dont need 2 marks 1's haaha or do i ??
