I got an email today from a fellow lover of all things dub telling us about a car that might come onto the market if people are keeping an eye out for one of these. I don't know anything other that what I've been emailed, but it does sound like a good one!

I just wanted to let people know that I've had to return my 2010 R36 company car back to the fleet company, Fleet Partners in Sydney, as the five year lease was finished and I am now on a car allowance due to company restructuring and have purchased a Passat V6 FSI Highline as the R36 is no longer available.

I returned the R36 with 103,000Kms but it was in almost perfect showroom condition. I washed it myself nearly every weekend for the entire five years and kept it looking as new. It was garaged at home and at work, the paintwork looks like new and it was serviced every 15,000Kms by Burwin VW in Melbourne. When purchased I optioned Xenon headlights and ACC (Adaptive Chassis Control) which was only available in 2010. The Comfort setting on the ACC made a big difference to the suspension but firmed up on Sport as required.

I am hoping that this vehicle will go to an R36 lover like myself so if anyone is interested they can contact Fleet Partners. The registration is XTF 825 and the finish is Reflex Silver with Black interior. Fleet Partners wanted $30K when I enquired recently but that is way over what they will get wholesale. It will appear somewhere on the market and it is an excellent vehicle (with no transmission problems).
