If it's as rust free as you would assume (given the full respray) Then it would definately be worth good money!

    I think it's a bit over price.

If it's mechanically in as good nick as it's described, and there are no nasties under the bonnet, it'd say it'd be worth around $3K, but that's just imo!

its alittle over priced, but it does look good from the photos, rust wise anyway.. probably cause they didnt really put up and infamous rust spots for this car, however, u get a rwc so it might be in bettter nick than most, if its perfect i recon 3.5 would be sweet.

I understand they've put a fair whack of money into it in 2 years, but its not money you get returns on. I was thinking 4.25 grand was a little high for a starting bid, yes. Thanks!

They've invested a lot and it looks immaculate. You'd be hard pressed to find a buyer at that price and I think it'd be worth keeping considering how clean and reliable it must be now.

    no,

find another rotbox and see how much it would cost to get what you have in the picture, if the body is solid and the paint is good then you have saved yourself a fortune

DUBY does have a point, theres people asking 1K plus for rust buckets, this might actually save you money.. and if not that.. itll save you work!

    Worth every penny.
The Mk1 is a classic and good ones are priced accordingly.
