saw 2 mk1s in two days! a red one and a dark blue one with the no plate golf 77

and an orange caddy!

The blue 77 one is my mate Brian. Coach builder by trade and general top bloke. Never quite understood where his love of mk1's came from but he is building a white two door at the minute I provided the gearbox and motor for I think!

Yep, seen Brian in his blue '77 a few times lately. He always gives an enthusiastic wave.

Today, I saw one of those transition B1 Passats like Pete Jones has, but white, Donald Bradman Dr and South Rd intersection. I've never seen one in the flesh before; pretty uncommon in these parts.

Gorgeous black Audi A4 B6 wagon decked on LMs (damn near perfect fitment) on Gilles St followed by a clean MK4 Golf on BBS RS (reps I reckon) this morning, nice way to start my morning!

I saw (and overtook) a mint red VR6 this morning on the Strath-Mt Barker Road. Flawless paint for age of car- very well looked after generally. Driving like a granny though...
