Yep, the 'rocco brakes came from the states from my trip last year.

The Konis are about $100 each to rebuild if there's not too much wrong with them. (No bent shafts etc.)

That's about 1/2 the price of buying new ones.

    Maybe

The rears definately, I only had the one set. I've got a total of three sets of fronts though and I don't remember which ones were out of your cabby.

DOH!! I got a set sitting in here with some King Springs (small budget - got hit by the GFC) and was going to put them in my Cab soon - are they REALLY bad!???

I don't want to wait to get coilovers to be honest and my current shocks are really bad

I ran these on my mk1. cheap solution for a budget run around. they were a million times better then the oil filled shocks that they replaced. For everyday use they arent bad.

They're fine! I ran them on the race track for the last two years.

Much better than stock oil shocks, just don't expect them to last 30 years.

Mine were a bit leaky when I pulled them out and one was definatley stuffed but I did give them a pretty hard life.

I'd use them again. Check e-bay there's always sets going cheap.

Good value for money but will have a fairly short lifespan.

Bugger, bit of a setback today. The clutch was slipping a bit so I just pulled the box.

The clutch rod shaft was leaking bearing and seal were loose.

I put another bearing in and discovered that the input shaft is split.

Box will now need a full teardown to repair.

Hmmm. Think I'll pop the old box back in the meantime.
