Had to make a spacer for the Engine mount bracket. Normally the Alternator mount tucks under here.
Bolted up all the pullys and belts after torquing the head. Those stretch bolts take an effort!

I've got plenty of pictures. I'll write up something for the conversions thread when I get the time.
Meanwhile feel free to ask me anything specific.
If you're going to use the 2.0 head there's other issues I haven't had to address because I'm using the 1800 k-jet head.

First issue of the day. The alternator tensioner fouls the body work. I was sort of expecting this, it's been mentioned around here before.
Some minor adjustments were required.
That cost me a couple of hours to sort out. Hopefully you can all see what needs to be done if you're going to try the serpentine belt setup yourself.
Hmmm... Looks like i'll be needing to do some "Minor adjustments" too when i go that way.
I take it everything went well?
By the way.. Sprung clutch?? Soooooft.![]()

Another little clearance issue caused by the addition height of the 2.0 block. Easily fixed by bending the raintray.
It's in! Now just to do the plumbing and wiring.
Before the dizzy went back in I primed the oil system by using this to drive the oil pump directly throught he distributor hole.
