Here's the video of the round 4 flying laps. Lap 1 is the fastest of the day.
I think I can knock at least another second off that if I get a bit braver in turn 1.
Previously I'd brake and change down to 4th. During yesterdays runs I figured out how to get through there in 5th with sufficient RPMs but I think I'm braking too hard and could go in faster.
I'm having a few issues with the GPS data for the other rounds, I'll try and upload some more videos tonight. Be sure to watch them in HD with the volume turned up

In the above video during lap 3 I started having an issue with fuel surge at WOT which is why my speed drops off in turn 1 at the start of lap 3.
Here's the footage of round 5. The fuel issue sorted itself out, I suspect either heat or the filter prior to the pump.

Way to go, Pete! I watched your first vid this morning.. Good stuff.
A bit of oversteer in a FWD is a good sign, means your car is pretty neutral.. How does it feel??
I see you started to have a bit more of a dig with that Mini held a carrot out infront of you..

It's actually quite neutral, the diff helps a lot with that.

Nice! And that's the wavetrack, correct?
I've been thinking i'll probably get a Peloquin (when I do finally change the diff centre), but i'm not 100% sure, yet.

Yep, it's a wavetrac. Changes the way the car handles completely. Rather than causing understeer you can use the throttle to pull you straight.
I found it to help with braking too, haven't quite figured out why though. Makes it harder to lock just one wheel when the weight's off it.
Also it doesn't free wheel like some LSDs when you button off so if you have to lift off the throttle mid corner to avoid an incident things don't so funky as they do with an open diff or a plate style diff.

Didn't you buy both brands of diffs for comparison? Have you tried the Peloquin yet?
Great video by the way. You must be having a bucket load of fun out there!

Haven't tried the peloquin yet, just haven't been able to organise getting the other box built up. Every time I've got enough cash to do it I end up having to have the wavetrac equipped box pulled apart for some unrelated fault.
First time I had to replace a cracked input shaft, second time I got it stuck in third gear. Each time I had to put my spare close ratio box into the car while the wavtrac box was being repaired which of course also prevented me from getting a diff put in it.
Mind you with all the practice I've had I can swap out a MK1 gearbox in 2 hours now!

Bit out of sequence, but here's white at SEDF.
