Thats so much harder to do than doing it the right way!
Looks like you had a fun day.
So you are keeping the kjet for now and trying out a 2L bottom end??
Sounds good. I`ll be interested to hear how much it is improved.

I'm going to dabble with some carbies for a bit then go back to the kjet. I'm hatching plans to build a dedicated track car to put the next motor into.

You got a 70 buck prothane kit off ebay too huh?
How good are they?!!
Nice work as per usual Pete. ;)
Was going to try and pop the motor back in this weekend but a couple of mad weeks at work meant that I pushed my still recovering knee too far and had to take it easy.
Popped into the Speed Shop in Narre Warren to pick up some exhaust wrap. Well worth a visit!
Did some house keeping in the engine bay.
Degreased everything.
Wrapped exhaust.
Replaced torn CV Boot.
Repacked both inner CVs.
Repleaced CV bolts.
Pressed new engine mount in .
Also finsished off the dizzy spacer and conversion to mount the MK 2 dizzy in the 2.0 block.
