    WABIT: The Rebuild.

so! the project has been on hiatus for like..... 900 years, after worthersee im itching to get back into it!!!

SO! the car will be getting full metal respray in calypso green, with my standard tan roof and interior, 16v on twin DCOE's head work, over 300deg cams, audi UR quattro calipers and 280mm rotors, rear disc conv, 02a gearbox with VWMS racing shifter

so far the car is half white and half bare metal with the 16v in the bay

over the next few week's ill be clearing the garage and pulling EVERYTHING off the car. ready for media blasting!

my 02a arrived today, has 90mm flanges as standard so that helps alot!

also just bought my vw motorsport racing shifter out of an ex vw race car! only thing custom is the new added reverse lockout they added..... BEST!
coming in 7 to 9 days!!!!

my new wheels will arrive in under 2 weeks also
these arnet the wheels but they will be polished like this

this is the color ill be doing it

ill get more pics up once i start in the next week

im soo exited to get started

good luck with the massive cams mate, surely some 272's or somelike that will do and be good enough for 180-190bhp

no need to push me j-rad, im pushing myself till its finished! ive got a new itch and it wont go away untill completed!!!

i changed from EFI turbo to carbs purely bacause at the moment it would be too much money to install a turbo ontop of my resto, the turbo setup i want is going to cost over 10k and i purely dont have that sort of cash and the car will never get done!

as for the cams, its mainly because i want to do extensive headwork so why not put stupidly sized cams in aswell, theres no purpose for them, rather the thought of having over 300deg cams in ohh and having a cranky idle at over 1,500rpm!

Should be interesting to see how the engine runs with the 300deg + cam.
