Part 2
Hi mates,
unfortunately in OZ the Scirocco MK1 is very rare to see, so I have decided to let you know about my project. I bought this car 19 years ago and drove it only for 3 days, after that it stood the whole time in a barn. About 3 years ago I fetched it back to my place and began to build it new. The substance was very good, only quite little rust. The year of manufacture is 1980, at this time the rust-proofing was a little bit better than the years before. After all I made a new body cavity sealing, this is the most important thing for a Scirocco because they already rusted in the catalog The engine is a 1,6 l 85 HP with the 2B5 carb, except of little modifications it's original. In June of this year I registered the car after 19 years pause, the first drive was an awesome moment
So now have a look at my pics, hope you like it. I have many more pics, but I guess it's enough
Cheers
Mario
