I'm very excited that 15000 km away from my hometown people also fascinated about the Scirocco MK1. For me it's a particular car because it was my first car ever and I'm crazy about the design, I also luv other Volkwagons but this is definitely my fav

Does anybody knows how many Sciroccos are registered in Australia???

Nice job on the all to rare Mk 1 Scirocco Mario, top marks for saving one of VW's pinnacle cars, Pity the factory never followed them up with more of the same formula.

As for Mk 1's in Australia, there is nearer 20 about, I have 4 currently, and have had another 2 pass thru my hands, I have info of another 2 currently going through the rebuild, restoration process on the east coast.

Have you any more images of the roof replacement ?? 2 of my cars have aftermarket sun roofs fitted and i'd rather they didnt....

Good luck on keeping her running for many years to come

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Hi,

about 20 is not very much And you are a lucky owner of 20 percent of it

Yes for sure I have more pics from the roof replacement, I can send you those via email, think for the most people here it's not so interesting!?

    Cheers
