I have been for a ride in this car and it is truly awesome. Massive grin on your face from the turbo and inside it feels so OEM and just right!

Sam, your car is the reason I want a 1.8t now haha!

The intercooler is IFD or something? Is that a brand haha? It's 3 letters something along those lines anyway..
It's only a perfect fit because I carefully measured and cut the bumper support to fit it in there. There is pretty much no way you can fit a IC in there without cutting that support panel.

I was driving a friends Mk3 VR the other day, amazing how dated it all seems after getting used to the Mk4 stuff now. To be honest I think the Mk4 dash fits and looks better then the Mk3 dash even!

I'm actually a Melbourne boy originally, but moved over here a wee while ago now. I'm still back in Melbourne regularly though; yet to spot a sweet dub though!
I gotta say for a small country NZ has actually got a pretty sweet VW scene, it's really taken off in the past couple of years especially with everyone stepping up their game. I think the fact we developed a show similar to some of the big ones overseas has helped everyone lift their game.

Yea for sure Golfman! Are you on Vask? Whenever you are coming post up that you're over for the weekend or whatever and are keen to catch up with whoever is around. No doubt we can pull together a bit of an impromptu meet up!

For anyone who is familiar with the Mk4 R32 turbo 4 motion Bora/Jetta Coupe, that was built John, the same guy that helped build this. He's a wizz

    I love Built threads.

Congrats on the build dude, car looks really great. I didn't think I was going to like the mk 4 dash, but with the seats and interior and everything, it looks sweet.

Love the vento front and shaved from bumper, will look great with black IC hoses.

I reckon it's a spot on conversion for a mk 3. Enough power to make it really fun to drive, but nothing too outrageous that you can't daily it.

What are the specs on the wheels?
    17x8...?
