    yeah dude!

maybe even cut it down with some 3000 before polishing to get the max result.

have you also tried the wax after the polish? makes a massive difference.

    That looks great man!
I've actually been eyeing an old white one here with a rebuilt Audi 1800 in it. Its not as neat as yours by a longshot, but I might need it to use while the conversion is happening with my mk2.
I was thinking the same as you. Decked, but more rat.

Keep the pics coming tho!! It's nice to see something a bit different for a change

That is lovely and look to be in darn good nick for its age, nice pickup, and especially for that price, bargain!

Look forward to seeing it after some droppage and retro styling

Never tried waxing it after a polish. To be honest im a bit new with cars with older paint work. My VR6 had newish paint and I had my black mk1 repainted so Im not really sure what polish is best...

So I think I have found the type of wheels that would look pretty sweet on the passat. Little bit of work to fit but.....oh so worth it

I have always been a fan of OEM+ and these ATS Porsche Cookie Cutters are perfect.

Farecla is the way to go. Its an Italian brand and worth every cent!

This is what it did to my car.

    to this

crazy stuff. But i cut it aswell with 2500 then 3000. Then polish and then wax it by hand.

Cookiecutters are pretty cheap if you can find them. Remember though, that they will be 5x130. You'll have to get adapters..

Search around too. There was quite a few different offsets etc.

16v kid your Fiat's paintjob looks pretty damn neat after that work. Will have to give it a shot when I get a bit of free time

yea Preen, have been looking at adapters to fit the cookie cutters wheels. Im a real big fan of oldskool oem wheels so these are on top of my list of wheels. Worth the hassle of finding adapters, correct offset, width, etc... In my opinion

Gave the old girl a polish today. Nothing too crazy., not enough time. Just a quick going over with some Autoglym brings it up alright.

Got rid of the chrome stripes along the side because not one of them was is decent condition. Did the old trick that I did with my black Mk1 and run some pin stripping along its place.

Also took off the mud guards. They are handy to have but they just look bollocks in my opinion hahaha.
