    Looks good man.

head down to autobahn or something and pick up some stick on chrome trim, I reckon that'll look tops. (same thing Pete Jones has on his Passat, and I've got on my GLD)

    Thanks guys.

Jarred I was looking in Autobahn for that exact same thing but couldnt find it. Got a few decent auto stores down here like Rare Spares. Reckon they can help me out with that stuff

I can't rmember - will get the old man to have a look see. I know there used to be one or two frt guards, probably a gearbox or two, carbies, seats etc. I had a couple of parts cars, but can't remember what's there.

    Cheers Buddy.

No such thing exist for the mk1 passat unfortunatley

the rear suspension in these oldies are a bit odd hahaha. The shock is not inside the spring like golfs are (macferson strut i think is the correct name). And the fronts have the steering rods connected to the macferson strut haha

Custom setup look to be the only way to go

It'll most likely be the same setup as audi 80's etc have, so that should broaden the options a bit. I'd go for a shortened front strut & lowered front springs. For the rear, I'd go trawling through the wreckers trying to find a similar, but shorter rear shocker (that could fit, or easily made to fit) and then fit a lowered spring. Maybe you could also lower the spring perch on the rear too?

I could never find coilovers for my audi when I had it, only cup kits, and only from germany and a few in the UK.
