More thoughts, that's from a MK2 Golf Haynes manual. I have one and when I dig it out I'll post any useful info.

I've got the part number of the original now. Just can't seem to find the manufacturers specs just yet.
CORDOBA 1.4 (Spi) 93> ITP191 1HO906091D
CORDOBA 1.6 CLX (Spi) 93> ITP191 1HO906091D
CORDOBA 1.6 GLX (Spi) 93 ITP191 1HO906091D
CORDOBA 1.8 GLX (Spi) 94 ITP191 1HO906091D
GOLF Mk3 Mono 91> ITP191 1H0906091D
I'd pop this pump into the Mk I tank but the inspection hole in the Cordoba is much bigger so I don't think I could get the pump in there!
Cheers
Pete
The cordy tank, wont fit. I tried once :?
You can either run an inline pump with the correct flow and pressure from the Mk1 diesel tank.
Or Cut up a Mk1 tank to get the cordy pump etc inside it.
Or take the cordy pump apart and use it as your inline pump. The big cylinder inside the pump will break down into a lot smaller pieces, half of it is filter and fuel sender.
Oh yeah, all SEATs except Toledo have the intank pump as the sole pump.
The Toledo has one in the tank and an inline one too that is I suspect the same as a Golf 2 unit.
Found that same info in a Passat Manual, so looks like it must be good.
You can use pretty much any inline pump cos the FPR will control the pressure at the injector and dump excess fuel back to the tank.

as title says. theres i website called autosolve usally gives good explainations
Just use TBI ED Falcon pump with sock will just fit in, also use 91 cabrio sender unit with return pipe. I also used Cordoba plastic fuel lines. I did this same conversion 3 years ago with no dramas yet.
Jaimo.
Cheers, I was wondering if anyone had tried the Falcon TBI pump.
I'm still working my way backwards through the wiring at the moment. The aftermarket immobiliser was a birds nest, it took me a little while to get it out of circuit and put things right.
On another note I pulled the diagnostic codes out of the ecm. There's only one code 00515 which is a faulty camshaft angle sensor. I think someone mentioned the hall effect sensor in the dizzy was available from Jaycar????
Pete
Yeah, that was me. 20 bucks a bargain.
