Don't worry, there's still plenty going on here...

First up, Timmy's been hard at it. These are the ONLY pictures he sent me.. The bastard! haha..

Now.. What I got up to.

While I was down at Golfworx Performance, I helped myself to a set of genuine 1976 Bosch headlights from a donor car. They were both immaculate, but very, VERY dirty.

This arvo I went about giving them a refurb..

First up, frames off and give the body a damn good clean with some spray and wipe (this was actually home brand stuff, but its bloody good!)

Then, stick the frame in the sand blaster and clean it right up..

Followed by some etch primer and some matt black paint. Put them back together and...

Pretty happy with how they came up and they should look really nice back in the car when it's done.

One thing I should mention is that I didn't clean the adjuster screw threads. This meant that I could see where the original positions were so that when I put them back together, i could get them damn close to level and they will hopefully only need some minor tweaks to get them pointing straight ahead.

You'll no doubt be needing a few extra digits on the speedo, one of these would be nice next to an OEM Porsche tach.

Haha.. Yeah, with the RPM range and gearing it should go off the speedo in 4th with enough road.. haha.
